Lurline's 4-concert subscription series is expanding: Sutherland is added as a venue to Randwick. Turramurra, and Windsor. Co-foundrrs, Maria and Angela Lindsay, remark that it is wonderful to see Sydney more and more 'covered' by good music. The first concert in Sutherland will feature a world premiere of an arrangement of a George Onslow piece, and Angela Lindsay performing two viola solo pieces. For tickets, click here.

Donations Appeal
Dr Tommy Tycho, patron of Lurline, says that the orchestra is going from strength to strength artistically and musically, being booked well into 2011. However, it is currently in a financial crisis due to funding and box office shortfalls, which may jeopardize its future commitments. Read the full wording of his letter:
