April 2010 'Richly Celebrated' series
Tommy Tycho's violin concerto is a brilliantly written piece. Everything about it speaks about a musician who is thoroughly versed in his craft. Maria Lindsay played the violin concerto like a goddess...a true virtuoso. A great concert, well done to all.

Just to say thanks again to you and the members of LCO for the excellent performance of Willow Bend on Sunday at Annandale. I enjoyed it a great deal and was really impressed with the orchestra's clarity and real attention to detail. That approach brings out a lot in the piece that can otherwise get missed so I was very happy.
