April 2010 'Richly Celebrated' series

Tommy Tycho's violin concerto is a brilliantly written piece. Everything about it speaks about a musician who is thoroughly versed in his craft. Maria Lindsay played the violin concerto like a goddess...a true virtuoso. A great concert, well done to all.
Richard Gill

Lindsay displayed a great sense of mastery in this technically and emotionally demanding work. Read whole review.

Just to say thanks again to you and the members of LCO for the excellent performance of Willow Bend on Sunday at Annandale. I enjoyed it a great deal and was really impressed with the orchestra's clarity and real attention to detail. That approach brings out a lot in the piece that can otherwise get missed so I was very happy.
Andrew Schultz, composer
